“Wedding bells will ring Monday for jailed hip-hop star Remy Ma, who plans to marry her boyfriend, rapper Papoose, on Rikers Island, a source close to the rapper said.

The jailhouse ceremony will take place just a day before Ma is sentenced for shooting an ex-pal during a squabble over money in the Meatpacking District last year.

Remy Ma, 26, whose real name is Remy Smith, and the Brooklyn-born Papoose, real name Shamele Mackie, will each be allowed two guests for the wedding.
Just 24 hours later, Grammy-nominated rapper Ma will face up to 25 years in prison for shooting Makeda Barnes-Joseph in the stomach last July.”
