Yup, ya boy Lil Wayne has gotten 8 Ozone nominations and his album Tha Carter 3 is not even in the best album category. How can that happen you ask? Well it was released after the cutoff date so they couldn’t get it posted that’s all.

best rap artist, best rap group (with Baby), Club banger (”Lollipop”), mixtape monster, best video (”Lollipop”) and Pimp C’s Trillest Artist.
Pimp C was also nominated 6 times along with Bun B including Best Rap Group, Best Rap Album, and Best Video. Bun B got nods for Best Lyricist, and Best Rap Artist. Pimp C was nominated posthumously for the TJ’s DJ’s Tastemaker Award, recognizing trendsetters in music, fashion, and style. Rick Ross got 5 nominates for the show that will be hosted by DeRay Davis and taking place on August 11th.
