Well everybody knows that Diddy was sleeping with Cassie and very well still could be but is he in fact engaged to her? These are the rumors spreading like wildfire that Sean is going to marry Cassie and that she has something in her life to look forward to besides her failing music career. This would indeed be a come up for her if she can snatch Diddy off the market. Kim Porter has had several kids by him and couldn’t even close that deal.
“Contrary to tabloid reports, there is no engagement. This was a complete fabrication,” states Combs’s rep.
Combs, 38, signed the singer, now 21, to his label Bad Boy Records, which released her debut album Cassie in 2006.
Still, as Ventura told PEOPLE July 9 at DJ Cassidy’s birthday party in Manhattan: “We are not together, but we are definitely friends.”
She also said, “We work hard together, so it makes a good combo.”
